Charles is our biggest range and the most autumnal. It is built on tweed and checks in coffee, dark brown, grey, dark green and black, and it is aimed squarely at country weddings, race days and anywhere a suit needs some weight behind it. It is also the range where the money goes into the fabric rather than the cut. Tweed holds its shape, wears for years, and looks better slightly worn in than it does box fresh, which is not something you can say about a lightweight summer suit. If you buy one suit from us that you still wear in five years, it will come from here.
